Theres this clever game called Moose, and it pretty much made for a fantastic night.

random night

There are a few things that come to mind when i think of Miami. These things do not include good alcohol or walking far distances. That being said, last night was quite exceptional. Carly and her roommate Julie and her boyfriend Luke came for a party they knew about...ALL THE WAY FROM DAYTON. After running some errands (i.e. liquor store and kroger), we had some lean cuisine frozen pizzas because im a horrible host, and set off for the party. Half and hour later, we arrived at an apartment on Mcguffey street. i didnt know you could walk one direction in oxford for a half hour and still be within the town limits. But there we were, and by this time it was about 9:30. Because I've decided that beer aint so good, i opted for the smirnoff girly stuff. We met some alright folks and watched speed racer, and then came up with some ridiculous drinking games to ease the tension. One involved a quarter, a cereal bowl filled with beer, and an ice cube tray....
By 12 am, we were sorta tipsy and ready to get outta there. I think my favorite part was when carly tried to pour smirnoff into my mouth (from a distance, upon my request) and drenched my face and neck area. yea, i felt a little slut-esque. Actually, i take that back, the CSA 141 teacher who was there told me that it was the most worthless class he had ever heard of. so that was pretty humorous as well. After all that, we said goodbye to luke (who was staying with his friend kyle at the party) and headed to find doug so carly could say hello. Pi kapp was a little...well...deserted, so Andy offered to share his rice with us over at Elliot hall. Another 10 minute walk, good lord. The rice was delightful, and we had a nice chat with andy and jake while shoveling the sticky white morsels into our beer weary mouths.
For some reason, i thought it would be a good idea to go to balcony, and we met up with TJ and Chris and some others there. We did some dancing, the band was pretty good, and someone bought me a shot of SoCo. mm mmm 'tussin. We all kind of agreed that bars are lame, so i finished carly's Pabst that she bought (for some reason, the girl cant get enough), and headed back to Pi kapp. Passing Acacia, Bobby saw me and we chatted for a bit. I miss tappan :(
At Pi Kapp the party was finally in full swing. It didnt feel late, but i guess it was around 145 by then. Josh had some more girly smirnoffs and i drank a few along with a beer or two. FINALLY i felt like it was taking an effect. Carly and Julie mingled a little, and i demonstrated how we can sound and kinda look alike (derr). They decided to leave, and im stubborn so i stayed later. Manley walked me home, i guess it was around 4, and i passed out on the floor in my room.

Here are some really odd pictures we took along the way

I look a little frustrated, probably because im actually drinking beer at this point. RAWR!
Megan makes the picture a little cheerier though, and i thank her for that.

Thats all, folks. Now me and my hungover self are going back to sleep!

A weekend in Tennessee

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
On friday, Doug, Mike, Andy, Pat and I all crowded into a Jetta and drove out to Dougs family lake house in TN. The fletchers are builders, so i knew it would be extremely nice, and i was definitely not disappointed. On the way down to the house, we saw some interesting license plates....

but nothing compared to the boat we saw with the name "Drug Money". Andy got a picture, so ill steal it from him and post it later.

There was plenty to do, such as boating, and swimming (well, andy cant swim, but we still love him).

We even brushed up on our cornhole skills with the BAGGO! and I beat up some boys in ping pong.
